Divine Moves offers dance as a spiritual practice and path to wellness.  This uplifting spirit-body practice restores a healing connection to joy through simple, flowing moves to beautiful, inspiring music.  Graceful repetitive moves and free dance invite you to deepen your connection to earth, open your heart, and awaken and embody spirit.  Combining dance, tai chi, reiki, kundalini yoga, functional and energy healing, Divine Moves offers a spiritual homecoming, a renewed love of life, and a sacred time for inner peace and nurturing.

Divine Moves invites an awakening.  When we dance, we engage the whole body- our feet are firmly planted, the core is strong, the heart is open; the palms of our hands connect to Earth, then our arms float upward to spirit, creating an energy healing flow through the whole body.  We experience embodiment, we  "give a body to spirit."  We step into earth and spirit and experience the body as the vessel in between, as this beautiful connector between earth and spirit.  And in doing so, we find healing.

In Divine Moves, the earth-heart-spirit connection is more overt than many other dance practices.  Emphasis is on alignment and body mechanics for the sole purpose of opening to the healing flow of earth and spirit.  Through inner sensation, awareness, and truly listening to the body, we come home to the divine within, the still, small voice of truth within us.  And we know ourselves as spirit.
